Sure, the thought of your car breaking down is stressful—and even sometimes scary. But if you have AAA Roadside Assistance, there’s comfort in knowing help is there.

But what exactly does AAA Roadside Assistance cover? A lot, actually. Hover over the icons in the image below (although we hope you never experience all of these at once!) to reveal all the benefits of having AAA Roadside Assistance on your side:

  • Trouble starting your car? We can give you a jump. Dead battery? We’ll come perform a free battery and electrical system test—and may even install a new battery on the spot.
  • A blowout, nail puncture, slow leak—whatever caused your flat tire, we’ll change it and install the spare, as long as it’s inflated and serviceable.
  • Run out of gas? We’ll help you get back on the road fast, by filling you up enough to get you to the next gas station.
  • It happens: Sometimes you lock your keys inside the car—or lose them altogether. We’ll send a locksmith to help safely open your door, or even replace the key.
  • Is your vehicle on the side of the road, in need of some first aid? Our technician will try to repair a minor problem to help get you on your way.
  • If a simple fix doesn’t solve your roadside issues, we’ll tow your vehicle for free to a destination of your choice, up to five miles for Classic members and up to 100 miles for Plus members.
  • If you find yourself stuck in sand, mud, pavement or dirt, we’re on standby to help pull you out.

The perks don’t end there. AAA Roadside Assistance travels with you, whether you’re a driver or passenger, in any vehicle.* And keep in mind: Each AAA Member receives up to four roadside assistance calls per year.
